Exclamation  Nightly Builds have subs issues with blu-ray's Post: #1
running the latest beta's for testing and also the latest "XBMCSetup 12.0 alpha1 (april merge window) master+HD-audio" for main usage for the family,(fresh install of the system)
i noticed they both have issue loading subs from blu-rays.
i know XBMC has issue's with the build in PGS subs (has been reported 8 months ago on TRAK)
but normally i would download .srt subs and everything would work without a issue.

but with the nightly builds and with "XBMCSetup 12.0 alpha1 (april merge window) master+HD-audio" the subs are like 10 minutes fast.

if i install EDEN clean or "XBMCSetup 11.0 Eden+HD-audio" and i choose the .srt subs they are timed correctly.

DEBUG LOG EDEN (with working .srt subs)

DEBUG LOG Nightly (.srt subs are like 10 minutes fast)

added it also to TRAK

Check the ticket for progress, we wouldn't normally discuss development issues in this forum.

I'm keeping a eye on it.
The first response was this night.
But the last issue I reported was also on the forum.
When someone told me to CC the ticket to a certain person.
That's why I also posted it here.

Thanks for reporting this TRaSH...I thought I was going mad recently constantly downloading and trying to run subs!! I thought I had missed some toggle in nightly builds Tongue

Glad that other people also have this issue.
I even reinstalled my HTPC to see if that was a issue and did several clean installs of xbmx.

seems it's still not fixed or no one uses subs.
can someone confirm this issue on the nighly's (Frodo releases)

or do i need to re-open a new ticket on the trac ?

The current ticket is not closed, so no. The issue might take some time to fix, or there might be other things higher up on some devs' to-do list. Patience, user, patience.

You can make easy links to the XBMC wiki using double brackets around words: [[debug log]] = debug log, [[Add-on:YouTube]] = Add-on:YouTube, [[Adding videos to the library]] = Adding videos to the library, [[userdata]] = userdata, etc
