Hi All,

I'm can't seem to get XBMC on my ATV2 5.0.1 OS...

Apparently, I get hung up and receive an error when I input code in putty: dpkg -i org.xbmc.xbmc-atv2_11.0-3_iphoneos-arm.deb

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Not without knowing what the error is

Set Up

40" Samsung ES6800 LED Smart 3D 1080P TV
Onkyo HTS3405 5.1 DD True HD and DTS-HD Surround Sound

Use the wiki guide, which will walk you through the full steps to get those extra files: HOW-TO:Install_XBMC_on_Apple_TV_2#ATV_5.x

You can make easy links to the XBMC wiki using double brackets around words: [[debug log]] = debug log, [[Add-on:YouTube]] = Add-on:YouTube, [[Adding videos to the library]] = Adding videos to the library, [[userdata]] = userdata, etc

I felt like the followed the wiki guide pretty thoroughly, going step by step. Perhaps I should re-jailbreak and start from the beginning again? I don't see what I'm doing wrong...

I had zero issues when I added this on 4.4.4...

Try it again and note any errors it gives you. Sometimes the servers those files are on get overloaded.
