I've made a few basic smart playlists, but now I'd like to do something more advanced and I'm getting stuck.

What I'd like is a list of the 20 TV shows that I've viewed most recently, and when I go into each one, I'd like it to just display the unwatched episodes for that show.

I've tried a few combinations of playlists (and playlists of playlists), but I haven't been able to find a combination that works.

Just make the playlist for most recent tvshows (not sure how easy that is and/or if it's supported in the ordering) then turn on hide watched?

Unfortunately I think you might be right - ordering shows by how recently they've been watched doesn't seem to be supported (at least not in the playlist editor).

Thanks for the tip about hiding watched shows though! I can't believe I didn't think to use it.
