Win Backup XBMC

I am installing Windows 8, but got XBMC on my W7 laptop just right. How can I backup XBMC with all add-ons and settings, and apply them to a new install?

you can either use the XBMC backup add-on...or you can simply copy your XBMC roaming folder "C:\Users\(user name)\AppData\Roaming\XBMC"

Thank you. I jumped the gun and used the roaming folder. It worked! Didn't know of the add-on.

I haven't used the add-on yet myself...but its noteworthy that it exists

PS, glad you got it Smile I run windows 8 too and I love it, you may want to look into start 8 by stardock...I wouldn't use windows 8 without it

Thanks for the tip, but I really like the start menu instead of a start button.
