Ok downloaded XBMC V11 got it to show on my tv through ethernet cable from my pc to my tv.
Also got a movie to play to my tv
But My question is how do I get the front end gui of XBMC to show on my tv,
Do I need to use a media player to do this I have a sumavision mkv 1.
My requirement is to play all my files from my pc through my tv.
But to be able too use XMBC GUI on my tv,
Is this possible also is a remote available thanks.

you are using an ethernet cable?...hmmm, I didnt know one could do that...but I hope it is at least a cat 5e cable or i doubt you will get full 1080p quality...how far is your pc from your tv?...is it in another room or is it next to the tv?...cause the best option really is to use an hdmi from your pc to your tv and just make your tv a monitor...but if your too far from your tv to plug your pc into it with an hdmi then I may be stumped.

Seems like you are streaming content from your computer to your TV (probably via DNLA).

To get xbmc GUI on your TV you will need to plug the computer XBMC is running on into the computer (e.g. using HDMI). The UI isn't streamed to a device.
