I used AppleTVHacks guide to jailbreak and install xbmc Eden http://www.appletvhacks.net/2012/05/25/h...ntethered/
I want to know do I still need to stop the apple tv 2 from updating? Or does it only update if I tell it to? Because I had to tell it to update from 5.0.1(4.4.4) to 5.1.1(5.0.1)....
Still need to block Apple udates with ATV2...?

I am pretty sure there is a dependancy that comes with XBMC now that stops it from updated. Always best to use the guide from the developers website in my opinion: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=HOW...Apple_TV_2 and as it's not mentioned there so I think you're ok.
