Putting a Debug Button in DialogButtonMenu.xml - Is it possible?

I'm trying to put a button in the DialogButtonMenu.xml dialog to turn the debug on off. It would seem this isn't something that can be achieved by an action id/function - can't even find that part in settingscategory.xml.

So can it be done...and how if so??

I was sure I'd seen numerous posts about turning it on/off via remote, but I haven't found anything remotely like it with time searching - weird! Thx
