Hi Again,
How does the export/import thing work?
I have finally got my library right. Took me 3 days, and 4 Complete rebuilds, but Ive got it right (until i add something else, god help me).
So, i go to export video library, which puts all my stuff into a directory of my choosing.
I copied this onto a flash drive and moved it to another computer.
(I have 3 Computers in the house running xbmc, and all access the same library on the server, and the program is in the same directory on all 3, yada yada yada)
So, I would like to import the lirary i have save onto trhe other 2 machines.
I go to the library tab, click import, Nothing, zip, nada. What have i done wrong ?

So Far I have given the XBMC export thing the big A.
and it looks like if I just copy the Directory
Users\#User#\Appdata\Roaming\XBMC
from computer to computer it works happily !
Well so far, I havent had any problems yet.
Possibly the best Backup Procedure Too.

I would just copy the Appdata\Roaming\XBMC directory as you've done.

For the import you need to drill down into the export directory, i.e. in the Browse dialog you should click down until you see the four directories Movies, TVShows etc before you click OK.
