hello.
i am new to the forums and eager to get started with xbmc.
ok, here is my question. i have searched the forums, the internet and anywhere else i can think of and i think i found the answer to this but not directly. . .so i just want to make sure.
in order for me to get xbmc install, i understand, i have to mod my xbox with a mod chip. once that is done, i am all set to go: installing a bigger hard drive, faster dvd-rom drive, xbmc, etc. however, once i do this, will i still be able to go onto xbox live? i have heard that ms has firewalls that detect hardware moddifications and will ban you from live! is this true, even with those mod chips that can be turned off and on?
the reason i ask is that i was hoping to have a "all-in-one" xbox, with xbmc and still the ability to go on live! without having two xboxes by my tv.
thanks.
