Linux HP Pavilion HDX Remote

Hello All,

I just got this remote from ebay: Remote but I see there are some insructions for making the play/pause button work. I have been banging my head for the past 2 days and I still can not get the play pause button to function, would any body have an idiots guide on how to get this button working.
