Hi all,

Im a novice and was hoping someone could point me to a direction to learn how to install add ons and how they are updated.

Also i was hoping to get a good batch of HD channels from UK if someon can let me know an add on with a good set of them please.

As for HD streaming TV channels in the UK, the only addon that I can think of that does this is the BBC iplayer. TVCatchup will stream UK terrestrial TV channels, but not in HD quality. You might be able to get some more through the SuperTV add on though

TVcatchup has two HD streams, ITV1 HD and NHK World HD,
for other HD streams your best bet would be the Livestreams addon but be warned this is not an easy addon to get your head around if you're new and I think at the moment the HD channels come and go very quickly.

I'm in the UK and did a search via the add-ons section in XBMC, but can't find either SuperTV or TVcatchup.

I followed the link above, and can't get Live TV to work at all. Do I need a TV card in my netbook, or does it just stream through an internet connection?
