Just wondering how does everyone get XBMC recognise doco's either series or one offs.

Helpful tips and suggestions welcome trolls no need to poke your head in this thread.

doco's = documentaries?
"XBMC recognise" = add them to XBMC video library?

If they're not listed on thetvdb for scraping, I create .nfo files and include my own information. As far as naming the files, I use S00E00 if it's a single show and S00E01, S00E02, etc. if it's a series.

Each show in its own folder to be scrspped or can i put all bbc docos in a master folder?

I guess one can google how to make an .nfo file?

For miscellaneous shows, I place them in a folders by genre: Arts and Music, History, Science and Technology, etc. If the documentary is a series (e.g., Planet Earth), I treat it like a single-season TV series and have all episodes in a single folder named after that documentary.
