Hi,

I'm new to XBMC, love it.

Considering getting a Tivo Slide to control my XBMC, but I also have a tivo HD I would also like to control with the Tivo Slide.

I currently have a Tivo remote (non slide)..and I would like to use the Tivo Slide to control both my XBMC and my Tivo HD.

Is this possible?

If so, would I use bluetooth or usb IR?

I have the Tivo Slide, but I don't own a Tivo. I can't say for sure, but I do not think that you can use it for both. It communicates with a dongle - so at the very least you would need two dongles: one for your xbmc machine and one for your Tivo. Even then, I don't think the remote can be paired with both dongles simultaneously.
So while I can't give you a definitive answer, I can say that based on how the Tivo Slide operates I think it's very unlikely to work.
