i know this is really general, but i'm having a hell of a time downloading tiny files. its very intermittant and i can't figure it out. i've used python's internal libs for downloading as well as httpcache and i still get lock ups

is there a "gotcha" i'm not aware of? am i not doing something i should? thanks, sorry for being so general.

update: actually it never really locks up, it just starts downloading realllllllly slow. i'm downloading from flickr, i dont know if that has anything to do with it.
