Which skin did you use ?

For me, it's related to skin.

Does XBMC rotate your photos in the list view?
I ask because neither the add-on nor the skin displays the photo, XBMC displays it.

i tested, are my photos. xbmc in list view doesn't rotate them.
now some questions related to the random widget:
first of all i'm using aeon nox (so tell me if i have to post also in skin's thread).
1- i'm set "use the picture as fanart for picture" so when i'm on the windget i can see the photo as background. if the photo has a landscape format no problem but if it is a portrait the photo is showed as landscape ad so it is distorted.
2-throug the widjet i can see some information about the photo, name, date etc.... could be possible to see the name of the photo's folder? not the full path only the name of the folder.
3-how and how often the phots in the random widget are refreshed, i would like to see more photo's as possible not always the same.

Your questions 1 and 3 are related to Aeon Nox skin.

For question 1, Glass display landscape and portrait pictures with no rescale.

For question 3, Glass refresh widgets each time you go back to Home menu.

For question 2, for now, the script only return the name, the date and the full path of the picture. It's easy to add a new propertie containing the folder name but you will have to ask to skinner to display this information in widget. And I don't know if widgets are bigger enought to display those informations.

i have some doubt:


as you can see in the widget the space is enough but i can't see the path of my photos. (photo's are not local but on my server).

Have no idea how complex it would be to add this, but hey - it's only a suggestion

My list of tags in very long, as I have a lot of pictures with persons, tags, captions, titles, ratings and more. How about implementing some sort of selection list, where each subcategory has it's own sublist that can be opened or closed?
