What is the basis behind the permissions the app is asking for?

Is it so hard to actually read the app's description? It CLEARLY states that you should check out the wiki in order to find out what the permissions are for.
Sorry, but this is ridiculous.
I'll let this one slide, but next time you probably at least try searching for an answer by yourself.

I did search for an answer but I searched the forum for it and not the wiki. Sue me?

It's even on the quick-view, without expanding the description on the phone you are able to read where to check up on those permissions and why it needs them.
(searching the wiki wouldn't have brought you any luck either, because the info I posted is on a separate Wiki)
