I can conform this bug with ATI hardware

I too am experiencing this issue.

I'm running 12.0 Alpha2 (Compiled June 2, 2012)

I have the same thing, in Alpha2 and nightly...I'm on a 2012 MBPwR (nvidia). All video is green and flickers/chops. v11 works perfect.

MBPwR, tried 7/11 nightly same...if hardware is enabled, green flickering with lots of chopping back + forth

Every single frodo nightliy have this problem...

And every single frodo nightly will most likly have this problem - until a dev gets his hands on a mac with ati gpu and additional spare time. And since its about VDA Hardware acceleration there is only one dev here which would benefit from the right hardware at all.

Would remote ssh access suffice? To my Mac Mini 2011 with a AMD Radeon HD 6630M graphics card?

nope. We are already about to get new hardware to davilla. So just be a bit patient please.
