I've been recommending this board a lot recently....
Want a simple all in one board that does everything you require in OpenELEC? (or other linux based builds)
http://www.zotac.com/products/mainboards...oards.html
Does all formats, deinterlaces 1080i nicely and will do Dolby-TrueHD and DTS-Master Audio.
Wifi works surprisingly well too.
(Intel don't make the D2700 chips any more so this is now the only version on sale)
If you want a super compact build, pop an msata ssd on it with a pico-psu.
Zotac may be bringing out a new board later in the year that swaps the Atom for a low power Intel Core chip.
The fan is a bit noisy. Swap it for a 80mm Noctua or Coolink Swif2. If you need to keep it low-profile then the Noiseblocker Blacksilent Pro 80mm is the same 15mm thickness.
