Hi,
I am running OSX Lion 10.7.4 on iMac and XBMX 11.0
I have 498 movies on a 6TB external NAS drive and connect to it via SMB.
I have deleted the XBMX app as well as the application support files in Librabies ->Application Support->XBMC and performed a clean install.
I modify the existing Movies location and point to the movies folder on the NAS.
Then I run a library automatic scan to load up all the movies and metatdata.
Takes a while....
When completed, there are only 424 monvies loaded.
These work 100% but I cannot figure out why the rest are not loading.
I use the Elgato h.264 for all conversions and all files in .mp4 format.
Only thing I can tell is that sometimes, the files that most often are not scanned, are +3GB in size.
How can I force XBMC to see / load these?
Any ideas?
Mac OS X Eden not loading all movies

need Debug log. Also, what are the file names of some of the movies not scanned in?
You can make easy links to the XBMC wiki using double brackets around words: [[debug log]] = debug log, [[Add-on:YouTube]] = Add-on:YouTube, [[Adding videos to the library]] = Adding videos to the library, [[userdata]] = userdata, etc |
