Well, when you set your iDevice to play to XBMC, XBMC processes for a second, then...nothing.
ONLY with Apple Native Apps.
As I said...others (from browser, 3rd party apps, etc.) work fine.
Look, I was just trying to help...if this is a pain in the a$$ for you, then forget it.
I figured the devs were trying to make it perfect. I appreciate that it's a free application, and it's amazing if you ask me.
ALOT better than MCE, Plex, or anything else. ESPECIALLY any paid software. I'd pay for something as nice as XBMC, but it just doesn't exist.

People can't help you if you're not descriptive of the problem. I've been reading this thread and also have had a very hard time understanding what the actual issue is that you are having. If a developer cannot reproduce the issue themselves, then they only have your input to understand what's not working for your set up.
You can make easy links to the XBMC wiki using double brackets around words: [[debug log]] = debug log, [[Add-on:YouTube]] = Add-on:YouTube, [[Adding videos to the library]] = Adding videos to the library, [[userdata]] = userdata, etc |

So now that i know that bonjour isn't the issue - i would need a debug log when you get the error for seeing why XBMC has problems to open the video stream.
Beside that i've added a smiley to my last sentence for a reason ... AppleTV2/iPhone/iPod: HowTo find debug logs and everything else which the devs like so much: click here HowTo setup NFS for XBMC: Wiki NFS HowTo configure avahi (zeroconf): Wiki Avahi READ THE IOS FAQ!: iOS FAQ
