Can't playback any Lord of the Rings
#1
I have the Holy Trilogy ripped from the new extended blu rays.
XBMC will start playing and just freezes about 5 seconds in... all three movies.

I have these ripped as mkv files using the MakeMKV.

I have several other movies ripped exactly the same way and XBMC plays them fine.

Also the LOTR files play perfectly with Media Player Classic Home Cinema including the lossless audio so the files are fine.

I am running the XBMC 11.0 with Aeon MQ3 2.0.1

Any ideas?

You need to turn debugging on like it says in the debug log (wiki) page.

Ok, I replaced the file. Can you check the link again, please and let me know if that is correct.
Thank you.

Ah, I just noticed you're using the special HD audio build. You might want to try and see if this is unique to that build by trying to play the file with the normal v11 (Eden) build, or even trying the latest monthly build (wiki) (which also has HD audio). I don't see anything obvious in the debug log, but it's possible I missed something.

Just saw your post, Ned....Didn't get the email notification for some reason. Got a lot going on today but I will definitely give that a shot and post the results.
Thanks.

Just tried it real quick... now ALL videos playback like the Lord of the Rings :-(

EDIT<<<<<<<<<
Ok... looking good here.
My settings seem to have got all screwed up or I just didn't make the proper changes when I originally upgraded.
I did have to change the full screen setting that steelman1991 in the AVS forum mentioned but that alone did not do the trick.

For the most part I use Greeneyez setup guidelines for setting up.
I double checked all that and most of my system settings/audio output options were wrong. Not sure how that happened.
Adjustments made and everything is playing perfectly and with HD audio.

Thanks for the help!!!
