Media Stubs
#1
Hi!, I'm trying to setup Media Stubs, like the ones described on the following link, for my dvd collection with no luck.

http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Add...edia_stubs

I've created a file name
Code:
300.dvd.disc
in my movie source.
But nothing happend.

I want to know if I have to do something else. Is XBMC going to detect the .disc file, scrape the info and add the movie to the library? Just out of the box? or I have to do something else?

Thanks

That´s it. For me it worked just like that, I created a file with the name of the movie, the tag and the extension .disc, just like you posted - <moviename>.bdrip.disc
In the contents, I´ve put:
<discstub>
<message>Insert Disc # XYZ</message>
</discstub>

You can customize your message. I don´t know if it works without the contents on the file, with just the file name.
I´ve put these files on a folder named Stubs and selected the folder as source.
However, on xbmcbuntu I couldn´t get these files to play the discs. They are detected, scraped and put in the library, but when I ask to play them and insert the correct disk, nothing happens. On windows, it works just fine, but not on xbmcbuntu.
Hope it works for you.
