Hi,

I am looking for an .nfo creator but for a specific need. I have a lot of asian content which will not show up in most databases. I need to get this content into XBMC as it won't show up otherwise (I could get via file mode but I want to setup a playlist for it). So here is what I need,

Some sort of batch file reader that goes through the folder in question
Looks at the individual .mov, .xvid etc files
and then creates an .nfo file next to it so that XBMC may read it

Alternatively if there is a better way to do this, then I am all ears!!!

Thanks in advance!

Moin...
I don't know if you're using Windows but if you are you could look into using Powershell.
Managed to get it to work for me in building xml files for webpage use.
it work OK with setting up nfo files as well .
Here my batch using Powershell.
