Some questions regarding sharing xbmc from a server

How are you sharing the userdata folder to XBMC? Path subs (wiki) (will require each client to at least have the advancedsettings.xml file) or symbolic linking should work.

I tried that but it seems to crash the server side.. I'll try it again later

I think i know the problem with symbolic linking, 'hard' symbolic linking doesn't work on xp

Finally i solved it! Smile

XP by default does not support symlink,
but by following this tutorial i managed to force it to share folder from ubuntu

Now i'm trying to add download button on contextual menu (right click), and removing the system menu..
I'd be very thankful if someone can point me which .cpp file i should edit..
