How to see output in another room
#1
I have Xbmc running on an office computer. I'd like to see the output of Xbmc on a TV in two different rooms. The TV's and the office computer are on the same network. Can a Sony Blu ray BDP-BX58 display Xbmc output? Do I need an add-on? Or do I have to run HDMI to each TV? Or is it best to buy a computer of some type for each TV? If so what is the best now a days?

What's the best remote that will work from one room to another to control Xbmc?

Thanks,

Question 1: XBMC_all_platforms_FAQ#UPnP (wiki). Basically, you'll either have to run HDMI or run a computer/set-top box of some kind on each TV.

Question 2: Some kind of RF one. I've had fantastic range with my RF Boxee Box remote (wiki) (works great with XBMC). I would also check out the Motorola Nyxboard Hybrid (wiki) remote (I haven't tested the range on them since the newest batches came through, but I hear very good things from other people).
