What happens in the XBMC db when a file is deleted?
#1
Kind of like the subject says. I asked the question inside another question, but people didn't see it Big Grin

The reason I'm asking is that if I watch a movie on my computer and then deletes it from the NAS, I'd like it marked as watched. If that's not the default, is there some switch to do it?

Cheers!

XBMC does not check for deletions until you select the item in the library or you run "Clean Library". Either way, the item is removed and not marked as watched.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to allow marking something as watched from other sources? Either by web interface, or even better to have a switch telling it what to do when media is deleted (and the db cleaned)?

Why not use http://trakt.tv for that? It even has an XBMC add-on.
