I have Xbmc running on an office computer. I'd like to see the output of Xbmc on a TV in two different rooms. The TV's and the office computer are on the same network. Can a Sony Blu ray BDP-BX58 display Xbmc output? Do I need an add-on? Or do I have to run HDMI to each TV? Or is it best to buy a computer of some type for each TV? If so what is the best now a days?
What's the best remote that will work from one room to another to control Xbmc?
Thanks,

Question 1: XBMC_all_platforms_FAQ#UPnP. Basically, you'll either have to run HDMI or run a computer/set-top box of some kind on each TV.
Question 2: Some kind of RF one. I've had fantastic range with my RF Boxee Box remote (works great with XBMC). I would also check out the Motorola Nyxboard Hybrid remote (I haven't tested the range on them since the newest batches came through, but I hear very good things from other people). You can make easy links to the XBMC wiki using double brackets around words: [[debug log]] = debug log, [[Add-on:YouTube]] = Add-on:YouTube, [[Adding videos to the library]] = Adding videos to the library, [[userdata]] = userdata, etc |
