hi,

i have 11.0 installed on an acer aspire revo, the audio is plugged into the headphone jack.
the audio plays fine, but compared to if i plug the speakers into any other device, it plays low.

the audio output is set to Analog, 2.1 configuration. the audio output device is set to "Defaults(ALSA)".

is it the software or the hardware that's probably playing it lower?
is there any other info i can provide that would help diagnose this?

I presume you've try to adjust the volume within xbmc.
Try running "alsamixer" and just the master and pcm volume up.
