iPad Can't see files

Got a iPad 3 install xbmc no problem. When I browse my shares I can see the shares but they are empty. If I upload files to the iPad directly and browse the directory same thing

That's normal. When you are selecting video sources it will only show folders, since only folders can be sources. After they are added then you can see files inside of them.
You can make easy links to the XBMC wiki using double brackets around words: [[debug log]] = debug log, [[Add-on:YouTube]] = Add-on:YouTube, [[Adding videos to the library]] = Adding videos to the library, [[userdata]] = userdata, etc
