Ok so yesterday i built my first HTPC and installed XBMC on it
months ago i had installed a hidden admin user on my windows 7 PC (so it could network with a vista laptop in the house)
after some trouble i used my IP address and all the proper information to get in with the hidden users details
Im trying to get a remote set up
ideally i have a Logitech harmony 700 id LOVE to use with it
i bought a cheap IR usb and either it broke after 5 min of use, or it doesn't accept commands from a harmony AND the remote that came with it is broken... because i cant get it to do anything from either remote

i also tried some of the iphone apps as a remote and none of them are working, i followed the instructions on setting up XBMC for it, and it just wont connect

i think im gunna go buy a better IR soon and see if my harmony will work, but i just want something working now so i dont have to use a mouse on a media only PC

Looks like you need an admin account, which you've deleted. Try to created another one.
