Hi Guys,
Hoping for some clarification on HDMI vs Analog in the XBMC settings...
My setup is HTPC >> HDMI >> HDTV
That said, I typically get best results when I put my audio settings to Analog.
Could someone please explain the difference between HDMI and Analog, when using an HDMI cable as the connection?
Thanks so much!

What are you using for sound ? HDMI, Analog from your Motherboard, optical?
If your running your sound HDMI to your HDTV then its not Analog and the setting should not change anything

Thanks Jetser...
I am running HDMI from my A8-3850 build to my HDTV... I switched my settings to HDMI, 2.1, turned off DTS and DD, and now I have sound... I think those are the correct settings for me, yes? |

So in reality, my situation is a bit more complex...
HTPC -> HDMI -> HDTV -> S/PDIF -> Bose Cinemate II Bose has 2.1 sound... Therefore, should I use 2.1 settings, or 2.0? |
