Hi!

I just came back to XBMC from Media Portal Client, that thing drives me crazy .

I have installed XBMC 11 PVR with the Media Portal TVServer an addon.
Everything works fine but the channel import starts every time when I start XBMC regardless what i choose in the options.
I can delete channel groups and sort channels in XBMC so that everything is fine until next start...

Any ideas what to do?

Sorting inside XBMC is problematic. In its current state, you cannot really use the internal channel manager.
Channel import on every start is default behavior of XBMC and as far as I know, you can't disable it.
The only suitable way of sorting is based on the channel number.
Unfortunately it is not possible at the moment to pass the separate sortOrder field from MediaPortal to XBMC because XBMC-PVR has no separate sortOrder field.
