Hi all
Sorry if I'm not doing this correctly New to all this, I have been using XBMC for a while now but all of a sudden every time I turn it on I get....Loading media info from files..... This never used to happen and I cannot think what I have done for this to start. It goes through everything on my pc and takes ages why has this just started to happen any help for this Newbie would be greatly appreciated

need debug log
You can make easy links to the XBMC wiki using double brackets around words: [[debug log]] = debug log, [[Add-on:YouTube]] = Add-on:YouTube, [[Adding videos to the library]] = Adding videos to the library, [[userdata]] = userdata, etc |

Have you turned on" Update Library on Startup?. A debug log would probably tell you.
