Quickest way to stop certain titles showing under the 'Movies' section?

Let's say for example, I had a ton of porn that I didn't want my other half to know about - am I correct in assuming the best way to stop these from displaying when she goes into 'MOVIES' on the main menu is to go to each individual title under that section and hit 'C' and then 'Remove from library' (but not delete file, obviously)?

I guess I would then find them by going into 'VIDEOS' then 'FILES' and the relevant sub-category?

Thanks!

I don't think that would work, because if you remove them from the library, the next time you update the library, they would just be readded.

The best way to accomplish what you want, is to have a separate folder for your "Educational Material" on whatever computer the actual files are located. So for example, if your movies are in C:\MOVIES you would make another folder called C:\NOTMOVIES. In your library, you would define your movie library as C:\MOVIES and just not include C:\NOTMOVIES at all.

You would then still be able to manually navigate to the C:\NOTMOVIES folder by going to 'Files' as you mentioned.

Best way to do this is to disable the default "Movies" in the skin settings and create a playlist, give it the a name like "Movies" and choose "Path" and "Is". Then put in the path to the folder which you have the movies in. Once the playlist is created you can go back to the skin settings to setup a custom playlist in the same screen you deactivated the default Movies. Make the label whatever you want to show on the Home page and then choose the playlist you created. Done. Good luck.
