Does anyone know if this is possible? So the XBMC interface is on my PCs smaller monitor while the audio and video goes to my big TV and audio system.

Nope. You can, however, have XBMC on one monitor and a web interface (wiki) on another. Some of the web interface add-ons will give you about as much control over XBMC as the normal interface, too. Complete with DVD covers, summaries, etc.
