I have added all our home videos to our XBMC. I can play them and see them, but how do I generate a thumbnail for them so I can see a thumbnail of the video?

These are MTS files off a Canon HG21 hi-def home video camera.

Any help woul dbe greatly appreciated.

For home movies, a simple way to add a thumbnail is to simply add a jpeg of suitable content to the folder that contains the movie.... and name it 'folder.jpg'. If you have multiple movies in one folder.... name the jpegs the same as the file with the extension .tbn e.g home_kids.avi would have a thumbnail called home_kids.tbn

Getting them into the library... is another issue
