Hi All,
I was wondering if the optical audio issues in OS X 10.6.8 and OS X 10.7 have been fixed? The issue was losing audio when switching audio tracks and some other general miss workings.

Depends with what version of xbmc you have seen these problems. We change to a complete new audio engine after Eden release. So if your problem was with Eden you could try one of the latest nightlies to see if its fixed with the new audio engine (though its very likly that you will experience new bugs in the audio range - because the engine is brand new).
