Linux xbmcbuntu on eeepc 701

good day.

I have just finished installing xbmcbuntu (eden) to my old reliable eeepc 701 4g. it is connected to the network by wire and i need to do the following:

1. overclock th eeepc to run at 900 from 600. There was an applet for this in the ubuntu how can i add the repository?

2. configure the wifi as a hotspot since the area is a dead spot for my router. This was also in ubuntu but i do not know how to add it to xbmcbuntu.

Advice from the experts are greatly appriciated.
