Autoexport single item to NFO possible?

Hello all,

As someone who has around 100k items in my library I'm getting a bit tired of doing library exports (takes a few hours+whatever time it takes for the checksums to be updated for my fault tolerance solution) so I was thinking of writing a plugin to automatically export items that are updated/added to the library.

Unfortunately after looking around the lists of what I can do it seems this will not work, but to be sure I want to ask here:


Is it possible to export information about a single item to a separate NFO-file (and tbn+fanart)?

If possible, is there any event system available for plugins to be notified of when information is changed in a library item?
