here is my log:
http://pastebin.ubuntu.com/1069875/
windows xp sp3
2 gb ram
intel celeron e1400 dual-core
intel g45 express onboard audio/video throgh hdmi
the issue is the same on windows or on xbmcbuntu, the program crashes during video playback. i have tried many different video files over my network and locally. i dont think the playback itself is the issue because on wimdows i can still hear audio until i tell windows not to send an error report, then the xbmc process closes.
help?
xbmc crashing on linux and windows during playback

My guess is it is the GPU and drivers. It may not be up to par for Eden.

Aww, really? that sucks! I'd really rather not have to get a new mobo, and there isn't really room for another video card in that box.. Hmm.
Is there anything in the log file that makes you think it's the video card, or just based on it being onboard video? |

It was a guess based on your symptoms an older GPU and past reports from other users. A dev needs to view the log to confirm it.

I tried out version 10.1 and it's working beautifully, so yeah the GPU might have been the issue. I'll just stick with the older version.
