what are the capabilities of the xbox audio hardware? i'm pretty sure i've read that it can only output 48khz audio through analog out, does this apply to the digital audio too?

basically, i have audio encoded at 96khz (or even up to 192khz) and 24bits. can the xbox play this audio stream without downsampling to 48/16?

apologies if this is answered elsewhere, i have searched to no avail.
