AppleTV 2 (black) Executing script on timer / time-zone problem

Is it at all possible to execute a bash script on a timer, either with an add-on, or by means of a cron-alternative on the Apple TV 2?

My ATV2 continually reverts to an incorrect timezone, so I must SSH in to perform the time-zone fix. This is happening too frequently, so I'd like to automate it using a timer. (Well, ideally I'd like to find the cause of the time-zone problem, but so far I can't figure out why it keeps reverting to an incorrect time-zone).

Alternatively, does anyone have any idea why the timezone on only one of my two ATVs keeps switching to an incorrect timezone? (Seems to happen every hour or so, so I must manually switch it back)
