Just pushed 0.9.1 to Git:

- Added Showcase with info view
- Labels should be more readable on home
- Weather should be fixed now
- Added Slide view
- Added Arial (system) font
- Dimmed fanart (need feedback if it is OK or should be dimmed more)
- Lots of cosmetics
- party mode for music
...

studio logos appear only for tv shows, please enable them for movies too

To be frank there is no room because of flags and I can not see usefulness of it as opposed to tv shows. They are used in Slide view, but only to balance and fill empty space.

IMHO, fanart is a little dark in background. It is nice option in some skins to allow user to define dim/not dim.
Also, thanks for better highlighting Home sub menu!

Question:
I can see in Settings the option to configure Weather. But can not find where to enable it on Home menu.

On Home screen menu, is there no option to edit submenu?
(this is where I would like to add Party Mode, under Music)

Good to see Arial set again. But some value of font size is little small, I will post about it on other thread.

Agree. Localization of skin is not simple but complicated to keep original design especially for typography. I think there is no genereal way for it and usually any kind of modifications are necessary for good quality of localization.

About Korean fonts, there are many license free fonts but condensed style is very rare and size of fonts are usulaly over 2 MB to 10 MB. Below is one of license free Korean font package named 'Nanum Gothic'. You can just look around as for example.

The package consists of normal, bold and extra bold style. Each font includes Korean, English and some Japanese and Chinese letters. Qulaity of the font is great. But I couldn't find Korean only font which has good shape and light size. If I find one I will let you know.

For Korean localization, they normally distribute locally modified version of skins through their own local community site or repository. For example XBMC-Korea.com. In that case, size of font does not matter.

Or to display Asian font as pretty as original skin, many users rename their own font's name to 'Arial' and copy to XBMC folder. So Arial font set is required and it make it easy to display well out of the box.

Maybe as you already know, when I modify font set for personal use, sometimes make a trick with tag <aspect> to display as condensed shape. For example,

     <aspect>0.75</aspect>

</font>

It is difficult to satisfy everyone in the world. Smile

Anyway Arial set is worth to apply ATM. Wink

I'd just like to see the tv show DESCRIPTION field on the list screens so I don't have to open every single episode in order to see what they are - something like this?

If you could somehow represent "watched" shows (a tick?) then that would be good too.

Is there a way for you to show recommended or similiar movies when going to movie info? Kinda like what netflix does.

To be frank don't know what they are supposed to be as I can't use Netflix.

I may add random movies on home page in the future as an alternative, but not in movie info.
