Can anyone help me figure out why my playback is doing this. It doesn't do it with all files but so far it does it with all streaming videos (espn, rev3) and mkv files but my avi file playback is fine. I tested the files in VLC and they play just fine there, it appears to be only a problem in XBMC



If anyone has tips on how I can fix this I'd greatly appreciate it.

Some system information
Windows 7 SP1 x86
XBMC 11.0
Nvidia GT video card (don't remember the exact model but I just bought it a few weeks ago)

I figured out what is causing the issue. It appears to be hardware acceleration and my NVIDIA card. I disabled hardware acceleration and everything is working but it'd be nice to offload some of the playback to the video card.

I have an NVIDIA GT 520 running driver 301.42

Does anyone else have recommended NVIDIA settings for video acceleration?
