Hi, I am new to XBMC and Nox so I am just getting familiar with the setups but I am having issues getting the display I want. For example in Episode view with Banners I get the Banner ok but when the program is highlighted, a thumbnail (not sure of the exact name for this, poster.jpg maybe) is not shown, just the default icon.

Also an empty page on the left shows when I select I for info. I have tried various options in viewtypes and the TV scraper but I cannot get it to appear.

Could someone offer me some help please.

I apologise if this has been answered previously, I have tried searching but to no avail.

"use poster.jpg" option in viewtype settings activated?

Yes it is activated, if I deactivate it the blank default icon changes to a distorted view of the banner icon.

best way would be to re-scrape your tvshow library and set the option "prefer posters" to on in scraper settings.

Hi, still no joy I'm afraid, the banner has now changed to a poster, see pictures.

Hi thrak76, I have done that thanks and the banners disappear and the info view still does not show a poster either.

do you have your media organized in the correct way? (tvshow/season x/SxxE...mkv)
do you have logo.png / banner.jpg files in tv show folders?

Back out of your tvshow library and view some other things..... movies, music, whatever. Sometimes it takes a few minutes for everything to be shown. You may even try to restart XBMC.

If all that fails, try deleting the texturesXX.db in you userdata folder and then restart XBMC. Your images will then rebuild from scratch (IIRC, as I've done this in the past when i just couldn't get some images working correctly).

TV media is organised like this:

C:\TV Shows\Burn Notice\Burn Notice Season 4\Burn Notice.S04E01.Friends and Enemies
C:\TV Shows\The Borgias\The Borgias Season 1\The Borgias.S01.E01.The Poisoned Chalice

But strangely I do not have any logo.png or banner.jpg in the show folders!

For your information XBMC is running in a VMware Workstation running XP, this is my test environment. Could that have something to do with the issue?

Phil65 that has worked and given me the posters and banners etc that was required. I had not considered using this add-on as I thought the basic stuff came doen with the scraper.

The TV folders now have lots of banners and posters in there!
