I wanted to try out XBMCUbuntu in a VM. I grabbed the v11 and v12 (repack) iso's from the xbmc site and created a VM in VMWare for each. I got to the installation dialogs in the V11 one but there's no desktop coming up. FWIW I am able to ssh in.
I would have expected the desktop to come up by default.
