upnp showing videos?

I use uPnP from my astone mp-310DT box in another room, but it doesn't list "videos" as an option (e.g. things that don't show up in my "TV SHows" list, like my ripped dvd's, documentaries, and shows that won't download info). Is there a reason for that?

XBMC's UPnP sharing only shares things scanned into the library (TV shows and Movies).

bummer. Know any scrapers that can actually support documentaries and channels like bbc, discovery, pbc, etc - so they appear in the library? tvdb doesn't seem to have about half the stuff in my library.

You can make easy links to the XBMC wiki using double brackets around words: [[debug log]] = debug log, [[Add-on:YouTube]] = Add-on:YouTube, [[Adding videos to the library]] = Adding videos to the library, [[userdata]] = userdata, etc
