Hi is it possible to do following

Output the audio from Apple TV optical to a PC running Windows which has a Creative USB sound card installed and there is an Optical In on the sound card.

Windows or any programs will parse the digital audio and output to my BOSE C5 (USB)

the only thing we can say for sure - appletv2 will output audio via optical. About the receiver side (e.x. your pc with optical in) we are just the wrong persons to ask.
