I use the software as the only one remote, to control XBMC and I love it.
The only problem is: If I watch a video while getting a call, I could not pause the video. So a very great feature would be: Pause a movie while getting a call.

You should ask the remote app developer then? Or are you talking about the Official XBMC Remote app?

Yes, I like the idea! I will look into the feasibility and what the "Core Telephony framework" offers to accomplish to this task. I'll keep you informed!
