I currently use Playback with iTunes on my MacMini. I am trying to use XBMC as a renderer, I use my iPad with PlugPlayer as the UPnP controlling application.
I am able to play standard 44K ALAC files on XBMC, but I am not able to play AIFF files.
I have a large collection of AIFF files at various sample rates from (16bit)44K to (24bit)192K.
PlugPlayer is able to cause AIFF files to play on other renderers.
All my applications and OS are current.
Any Suggestions ?
